Abstract
The historicity of texts and the textuality of history is the furthest basic characteristics of NewHistoricism. It pushes the relationship of history and literature to the front of literary criticism. Under the influence of hermeneutic, New Historicism regards history as the results of many explanations and eliminates the bound between history and literature with textuality. However, finally New Historicismwalks up to Non- Historicism from the history-orientation.
