Abstract
Intertexuality is the essential characteristic of all texts, and translation is a complex language conversion activity based on all kinds of inter-texts.In the analysis of types of inter-texts and the translation processes they refer to,we feel it safe to conclude that the theory of intertextuality should become an important part of translation study.Considering the four relationships in translation study on the basis of intertextuality is helpful for us to understand the nature of translation further and to widen the horizon of translation study.
