Abstract
Objective:To study the chondrogenesis of MSCs of adult Newzealand Rabbits in vitro. Method :The Rabbit's MSCs were harvested and expanded in monolayer culture .the 2nd or 3rd-passaged cells were induced by chondrogenic inducers including TGF-β,Dexasomethasone, poly-L-lysine. and evidenced by toluidine blue stain. Result: The cells of Chondrogesis differentiation showed the positive metachromasia as early as 4 to 7 days. The optimal dose of TGF-β was 5 ng/ml. Conclusion: The Rabbit MSCs own the Chondrogenic potential in vitro and can be exploited as seeding cells in tissue engineering.
