On artistic style of poems by Xu Zhenqing

This article discusses the poems by Xu Zhenqing who,together with Tang Yin,Zhu Yunming and Wen Zhengming,was regarded as the four talented scholars in Wuzhong in the middle of Ming Dynasty.Xu was also the key figure in the process of poetry restoration.His poetry assimilated the merits of poetry restoration and cut of the shortcomings.When the poetry restoration moved off its original orbit,he made remarkable achievements in his poetic creation,establishing a unique artistic style.
