Liu Jia is a famous poet in late Tang Dynasty.He developes a school of his own in poetry creation at that time.He insists on the tradition of realistic writing,his poems mainly reflects the social reality,people's livelihood and hardships.Metaphor is used frequently in his poems,forming the style of euphemistical irony and oxymoron.He is good at portraying psychology,especially describing subjective emotion and memory in his poems.The sentences used in his poem are pure,fresh and natural and are praised for its popular words.His unique achievements in writing poems with distinctive artistic features makes an important contribution to the development of poetry of the Tang Dynasty.Thus,he establishes his status in the history of Tang literature.
