Discussion on Development Opportunity of City Community Sports in Shandong Province

Abstract

After the successful holding of Beijing Olympic Games,the 11th National Games of People's Republic of China and the 22nd Shandong Provincial Games are going to be held in 2009 and 2010 respectively.In order to accelerate the development of community sports in the cities of Shandong province,this paper,through using the method of literature review,expert interview and investigation,explores the development opportunities of community sports in Shandong province from different aspects,such as support from and dominant role of Shandong provincial government,perfection of sports legal systems,rapid growth of sports infrastructure,transformation of the population structure in Shandong province,the development of sports industry,etc.
