The Textual Criticism of Lao Zi by Wang Zhong in the Qing Dynasty is very important in all papers about textual research of Lao Zi.Though three pieces of doubting and five pieces of proof,Wang Zhong thought that Lao dan consulted with Confucius and Taishi Dan writed books for CuanYin.Taishi Dan was bom in Kuxian and had ever taught Confucius.He and Lao lai Zi who was called Lao Zi had no relationship with Lao Zi.Wang Zhong's doctrine had very important influences and gave rise to two conflicting theories since modern times.In fact,it is not very difficult to explain the three pieces of doubting.While the five pieces of proof had its gain and loss. No verdict had been achieved yet.Meanwhile,there been redeeming features in its proof.
