Understanding Lao Zi (《解老》) and Intepretating Lao Zi (《喻老》):Character and Stylistic Significance

Despite differences in ideological content and writing style,Understanding Lao Zi(《解老》) and intepretating Lao Zi(《喻老》) are identical in nature.They are both works that explain Lao Zi.Understanding Lao Zi(《解老》) was written by Han Fei when he learnt from Xun Qing.It is not a thesis on one subject,but like notes on reading Lao Zi.Intepretating Lao Zi(《喻老》) is an explanatory writing when Han Fei reread Lao Zi ina later time.Because of the different time of writing,they are dissimiliar in text.The stylistic significance of the searticles displays mainly in their inheritance and development of traditional classic-explaining style.
