Abstract
Manganese leach solution was obtained after reduction leaching of silver-bearing multi-metallic manganese ore with plant by-products.Then it was treated by using a kind of inexpensive and natural silicate minerals with some absorption features, manganese sulfate was prepared after purification. This technology is characterized by simple process, less addition of absorbent, high efficiency for impurity removal and low cost in processing. It has solved the long-existed problem for the process of manganese leaching with biomass.Manganese sulfate product prepared with such technology can reach the standards of China HG/T2962-1999 industry manganese sulfate and HG/T2936-1999 feed manganese sulfate. It shows a good prospect for the application and extension of such technology.
