Abstract
Objective To observe in vitro inhibitory activity of antibacterial material of Pseudomonas aeruginosa against Candida glabratas. Methods The in vitro inhibitory activity of antibacterial material of P.aeruginosa against 52 strains of C.glabratas was performed by using the cross-streak assay. Results The in vitro inhibitory activity of antibacterial material of P.aeruginosa against C.glabratas was excellent, and the inhibition rates of No.2,4,and 6 of P.aeruginosas against C.glabratas were above 90%,and the pigmented strains were found to have stronger antifungal activity than the unpigmented strains.P.aeruginosa inhibited the growth of Candidas, the reason was mainly due to production of pyocyanin. Conclusion Antimicrobial substances of P.aeruginosa against C.glabrata has strong antifungal activity.P.aeruginosa has broad development prospect.
