Abstract

A Rose for Emily,one important work of William Faulkner′s Yoknapatawpha County,reflects his artistic technique and narrative skills.Based on the theory of narration,this paper analyzes the features of anachronism and narrative distance of the story and their special significance in manifesting the theme of the story.
