Abstract

Objective To investigate the effect of angiotensinⅡon the proliferation of in vitro cultured hepatic stellate cells. Methods HSC-T6 rat hepatic stellate cell line was chosen as the study model of the activated hepatic stellate cells. MTT colorimetric assay was used to evaluate the proliferation of HSCs. HSC DNA synthesis assay was evaluated by way of 3H-thymidine incorporation. Results OD 450 value of angiotensinⅡgroups at concentration from 1(1×10 -10 ~1×10 -4 mol/L), was higher than that of control group(P0.05). Cpm value of angiotensinⅡgroups at concentration from 1(1×10 -10 ~1×10 -4 mol/L), was higher than that of control group(P0.05).Conclusion AngiotensinⅡcan increase the proliferation and DNA synthesis of hepatic stellate cells dose-dependently.
