Abstract

Large space truss is used more and more widely in spacecrafts as the development of aerospace technology. The dynamic characteristics of space truss structure on spacecraft are studied based on the finite element method( FEM). First,the finite element model of space truss structure is established. Further,the disturbance excitation is applied to the truss structure and the dynamic characteristics simulation is implemented. The effects of disturbance on dynamic characteristics of truss structure are investigated. Finally,the effects of different materials on dynamic characteristics of truss structure are analyzed. The simulation results can accurately predict the effects of disturbance on dynamic characteristics of space truss,which is useful for vibration control of spacecraft structure and can improve the accuracy and performance of spacecraft equipment.
