Abstract
Objective To study the clinical therapeutic effects of Edaravone injection in the treatment of acute cerebral hemorrhage.Methods20 patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage according with the diagnostic criteria were randomly divided into two equal groups: the trial group and control group.Osmotic diuretics, antihypertensives, antidiabetics, brain cell activators and remedies for symptomatic treatment in different doses were used in the control group according to the extent of the cerebral hemorrhage.Based on these managements, the trial group were given each 30 mg of Edaravone dissolved in 100 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride solution administered by intravenous instillation bid.for 14 consecutive days. The score of nervous function defect of both groups were carried out on 14th day after the termination of treatment course with European stroke scale(ESS).ResultsThe ESS score increased from 43.10±14.26 to 63.80±14.38 in the trial group, and changed from 43.30±14.46 to 42.70±18.87 in the control group after the treatment. The difference in the main effect of method and time of treatment has statistically significance(P0.05).No adverse reactions were encountered in the trial group.ConclusionEdaravone can improve the nervous function effectively in patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage.
