Abstract
The paper analyzes the effects of river training conducted at meandering channel of the lower Yellow River from the aspects of the stability of river regime,channel bed and flow path.The outcomes show that a) the mean wandering range of the main flow reduces gradually and the stability of river increases remarkably after adopting a correction plan with slight-curves;b) when the length of main current stably come into contact with each engineering works is greater than 2 300 m and the length of project about 4 500 m,the river regime of meandering channel can basically stabilize,but the main flow still would change within a certain range.
