Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical application value of laparoscopic gastric ulcer perforation repair. Methods Forty patients with laparoscopic gastric ulcer perforation repair in our hospital from June 2008 to January 2012 were selected as observation group, and 40 patients with open gastric ulcer perforation repair surgery at the same period were selected as control group. Results The operative time of observation group was significantly shorter than that of the control group, the time of anus exhaust and out of bed were earlier, and hospital stay of observation group was shorter than those of the control group(P 0.05).The complication rate of observation group was 5.0%,which was significantly lower than that of the control group(15.0%).Followed-up for one year, patients in observation group were all recoveried and no recurrence occured, the control group were recoveried of 35 cases,5 cases were recurrent(12.5%),the difference of the recurrence rate between two groups was not significant(P 0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic gastric ulcer perforation repair is superior to traditional open surgery. It has the advantage of shorter operative time, rapid postoperative recovery, shorter hospital stay, fewer complications, ect.,so it is worthy of wide promotion and application.
