Abstract

Objective:To observe the change of serum albumin in live fibrosis. Metheds: Rat liver fibrosis was induced by CCl *#4.The contents of serum albumin and liver collagen were measured in 2?4?6 and 8 weeks after treatment. Results: The contents of serum albumin decreased and Hepatic collagen increased singnificantly in two weeks after treatment, then ,the serum albumin increased ,but decreasd again at the 8 th week.Hepatic collagen kept the same level at the 4 th ,6 th ,and 8 th weeks post-treatment. Conclusions: The serum albumin levels might be an good indicator of early liver fibrosis and its prognosis.
