Abstract
Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Bushen Yiqi Huoxue Fang(BYHF) combined with western medicine in the treatment of angina pectoris and evaluate the safety. Methods: 126 cases with angina pectoris were randomly divided into two groups, the control group(n=63) was treated with conventional western medicine while the study group(n=63) was given BYHF on the basis of the conventional western medicine. All of the patients were treated for one month. The clinical efficacy and safety was evaluated after the treatment. Results: The total efficiency of clinical symptoms,ECG improve in the study group were 92.1%,63.5% significantly higher than 73.0%,41.2% of the control group(P 0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the heart rate slowing down, blood pressure lower and regulate blood lipids between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion: BYHF combined with western medicine in the treatment of angina pectoris has good clinical efficacy,it is safe and reliable, and is worthy of being promoted and popularized in clinical.
