Abstract
The reacting condition of o-Cl-PF and Zn(Ⅱ) are studied. The results show that with the presence of CTMAB,the Zn(Ⅱ) reacts with color reagent and forms a 1∶2 stable purple complex in the medium of sodium traborate-NaOH buffer solution(pH=9.05).The complex remains stable for 2 hours at least. The apparent light absorption coefficient per mol is e=4.7×10~(-4)L·mol~(-1)·cm~(-1) and the maximum absorption appears at λ=565nm.Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration range of 0.12~0.80μg for Zn(Ⅱ).The proposed method has good sensitivity and selectivity. It has been applied to the determination of trace amount of Zn(Ⅱ) in table salt of added zinc and zinc gluconate tablet with satisfactory results.
