Abstract

Based on Uncertainty Evaluation and Denotation for Measurements, uncertainty evaluation of polythene density measurement by the density-gradient technique was assessed. The main influence factors which affect the determination of density came from the labor curve, the repetitious of measurement, temperature and the standard glass floats. The total uncertainty and the expanding uncertainty of determination result of a sample were calculated.
