Abstract
The effects of water stress on growth and yield of rice in blooming stage were studied by pot planting and water controlling. The results showed that 1000-grain weight under field wetness treatment(H1) was 27.1 g,12.9% higher than that of the control, and the difference was extremely significant(P0.01).Yield of treatment H1 was 152.1 g,higher than that of the control(146.6 g),but the difference was not significant.Yield of treatment H2(medium water stress) was 124.4 g and that of treatment H3(heavy water stress) was 118.6 g,lower than that of the control, and the difference was extremely significant(P0.01).Maintaining filed wetness increases rice grain weight in blooming stage, saves water resources and improves yield.
