Abstract
There is a misunderstanding about human spirit in quality-oriented education of university students.Some think that human spirit is opposed to scientific spirit;human spirit is equal to literati spirit and human education to liberal arts education.In order to rectify these misunderstandings,teachers of sciences must improve their training in philosophy and history of science and technology,learn to tap the human value of science and achieve the mastery of the scientific spirit and the human spirit.
