Clinical diagnosis and treatment of cervical erosion complicated with human papillomavirus infection

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect and safty of Baofukang suppository combined with microwave therapy for cervical erosion complicated with human papillomavirus(HPV) infection.Methods Total of 84 patients were randomly divided into observation group and control group,each with 42 cases.Patients in observation group were treated with Baofukang suppository and microwave,while patients in control group were treated with the compound chloramphenicol vaginal effervescent tablets and microwave.The clinical efficacy and HPV infection in cervcal exfoliated cells were observed and compared,respectively.Results The vaginal cleanliness was improved in both groups after treatment,but with no significant difference(χ2= 0.213,P = 0.645).For Ⅲ degree cervical erosion,the observation group had better effect than the control group(χ2= 3.909,P = 0.048).The rate of HPV undetectable was much higher in the observation group than that of the control group(χ2= 4.200,P = 0.040).Conclusion Baofukang suppository and microwave rherapy is an ideal treatment for cervical erosion with HPV infection and worthy of clinical application.
