Abstract
[Objective] To explore the application value of micronucleus test among people exposed to harmful heavy metals. [Methods] 29 cadmium-exposed workers and 35 healthy people were taken as the observation group and the control respectively; heparin anticoagulant venous blood samples of the two groups were analyzed by Cytokine sis block micronucleus test (CB micronucleus test); the result was compared with that of the conventional micronucleus test to make sure the effectiveness and accuracy of micronucleus test. [Results] Micronucleus rate of the observation group was (10.46±7.92)‰ by CB micronucleus test and (3.66±3.19)‰ by the conventional micronucleus test; that of the control was (4.29 4±2.66)‰ and (1.19±1.10)‰ respectively; the determination result by GB micronucleus test was significantly higher than that of the conventional micronucleus test (P0.01). [Conclusion] The effectiveness and applicability of micronucleus test were further tested among people exposed to harmful heavy metals.
