Abstract
Determination of gold by graphitized carbon black balls for solid phase extraction and flame atomic absorption spectrometry was studied.A new microwave-assisted closed digestion method was used to treat the sample, where Au(III) can be enriched by graphitized carbon black balls with TBP and eluted from cartridge with sulfite sodium, then the eluant is determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry.Beer’s law is obeyed in the range of 0~3.5μg/mL for gold. This method was applied to the determination of gold in the water sample. The relative standard deviations are 2.6%~3.0%,and the recoveries are 92%~95%.The results are satisfactory.
