Abstract
Thirty combinations were made between 3 inbred lines and corresponding improved inbred lines involvingtropical maize germplasm 320as femaleparents and 5 inbred lines from other places as male parents with NCⅡ mating designto analyze the combining ability of 10 agronomic characters.The results indicated that: Introgression of tropical germplasm320has significant and positive effect on the GCA of plant height and ear height of inbred lines.Its effect on other agronomic characters is different because of the different inbred lines of receptors.Introgression of tropical germplasm320has negative effect on agronomic characters of some elite inbred lines;The combinations of 4S1×Qi319,751×Qi318 and 2491×Dan340 have higher SCA in yield of per plant,they are worth to be studied deply.
