Abstract

[Objective]To discuss the clinical and pathologic characteristics of IgA nephropathy.[Methods] The data of 310 cases diagnosed as primary IgA nephropathy by renal biopsy was analyzed retrospectively by using clinical and pathological methods.[Results]The most common clinical manifestation in these 310 cases of IgA nephropathy was asymptomatic abnormal urine test(about 45.16%,140/310 ),and the second was chronic glomerulo nephritis(CGN)(about 40.97%,127/310 ).The major pathologic type of primary IgA nephropathy was mesangial proliferation(about 69.35%,215/310 ),the second type was focal segmental glomerulosclerosis(FSGS)(about 29.03%,90/310).The urine protein were equal to or greater than 1 g/d in 157 cases, and the major pathologicalgrading wereⅢandⅣ.[Conclusion]The clinical manifestations of IgA nephropathy are diversified and possess certain characteristics.Asymptomatic abnormal urine test is the most common clinical manifestation, and mesangial proliferation is the most common pathologic type of IgA nephropathy.Quantity of urine protein is bound up with pathologic type.
