Effectiveness evaluation of comprehensive nursing intervention on patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Abstract

Objective To explore the intervention effect of comprehensive nursing intervention on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD). Methods One hundred and sixty COPD patients were randomly divided into control group and intervention group, with 80 cases in each group. Each group was carried out normal treatment and nursing, and the intervention group was given comprehensive nursing intervention measures. The intervention effect was evaluated with SGRQ scale, life quality measuration scale and pulmonary function indexes. Results After comprehensive nursing intervention, compared with the control group, there were lower SGRQ score(P0.01), signifi-cantly higher pulmonary function(P0.01), better compliance behavior(P0.01) and nursing job satisfaction degree(P0.01) and better life quality score(P0.01) in the intervention group. Conclusion Comprehensive nursing intervention, can relieve disease symptom, improve pulmonary function, raise compliance behavior and nursing job satisfaction degree, improve life quality in COPD patients.
