Abstract
In this paper,a car gearbox assembly line production is descripted.The simulation is based on the software em-plant.Then it studies study the bottleneck of the total assembly line and improves the program by using the methods about assembly line balance.The bottleneck is rectified in the assembly line improved.The simulation results show that the rates of assembly-line operations have been improved.
