Clinical observation of the effects of Shenmai injection on angina pectoris

Abstract

Objective To explore the therapeutic effects of Shenmai injection on angina pectoris of CHD.Methods 80 cases were divided into 2 groups (40 cases each group).On basis of routine treatment ,Danshen injection was used in the control group while Shenmai injection was used in the treatment group.Results There were effects in 39 cases (97.5 %) and improvement of eletrocardiogram in 38 cases (95.0 %) in the treatment group while in the control group they were respectively 31 cases(77.5 %) and 29 cases(72.5 %).By comparison there was significant difference(P0.01).Conclusion Shenmai injection has significant effects on angina pectoris of CHD with safty and no obvious side effects.
