Abstract
This paper makes an overview on the grammaticalization theory, mainly introduces the cognition and definition of grammaticalization by linguists; the phonic manifestation of grammaticalization; how can we recognize grammaticalization; the restructuring of grammar system caused by grammaticalization; the reasons and conditions of grammaticalization; the new trend of grammaticalization theory; the relation between grammaticalization and reanalysis; the cooperation of grammaticalization and analogy.
