Abstract
On the basis of introducing the principles of Turbo encoding and decoding scheme,a typical BPSK communication system model is preseated.Turbo encoding and decoding scheme is applied to this model as well as the other schemes. The bit-error performance of this system model to which different encoding and decoding schemes are applied is studied and analyzed by means of Matlab simulation. It is shown that concerning error control and correction,Turbo codes have significant performance advantage over the widely-used convolutional codes and linear block codes. When BER reaches the level of 10~(-5),the coding gain resulting from Turbo codes is higher than those from other codes by at least 1.5dB.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
