Abstract
This paper presents Turbo Product Codes(TPC) for a new type of forward error correction coding. It studies the principle of encoding and decoding of Turbo Product Codes. And the simulation of TPC is given for the Additive Gaussian Noise(AWGN).Optimal encoding and decoding methods with sub-codes of different parameters is proposed in this article. The results of simulation show that compared with conventional convolutional codes and Turbo Codes,Turbo Pruduct Codes has an excellent performance at a higher rate.
