Research on the Relation between Education Investment and Economic Growth in Minority Areas Based on VAR Model

Based on statistical data of fiscal educational expenditure and GDP of Inner Mongolia in 1978-2009,we apply the VAR model and the co-integration test to research the relation between education investment and economic growth.It shows that there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between education investment and economic growth,but their short-term relationship is not obvious.Furthermore,we propose the suggestion of optimizing education investment structure and raising education investment benefit.
