A study on species and Occurrence Rule for the Locust from Zhalot Banner

Abstract

Based on the investigation for the Locust from Zhalot Banner,we found there are 23 species belonging to eight families.They are Oedipodidaev, Arcypteridae, Catantopidae, Pyrgomorphidae, Gomphoceridae, Pamphagidae (Locustoidea) and Tetrigiidae(Tetrigoidea) separately.According to the habitats,we divided all the species into three kinds: the low mountain hill locust,the low and damp grass beach water place locust and the fixed dune locust.Among them,the low mountain hill locust damages seriously,such as Bryodema tuberculatum dilutum(Stoll.),Oedaleus asiaticus B.-Bienko,Pararcyptera microptera meridionalis(Ikonn.),Angaracyis rhodopa(F.-W.),Dasippus barbipes(F.-W.)(=Dbf-W) and Haplotropis bruneriana Sauss etc.
