Abstract
Objective: To evaluate pharmacoeconmics of ceftriaxone and cefoperazone in treatment of children infectious disease. Methods: Select and divide groups at random, and analyse the clinical costs and curative effect with ceftriaxone and cefoperazone. Results: The corative effect of ceftriaxone group (87.8%) was not significantly different than that of the cefoperazone group (85.4%), but clinical costs were different between ceftriaxone (1550.0±390.2 yuan) and cefoperazone (1957.8±527.6 yuan). Cost-effectiveness ratios obtained with careful analysis were 17.449 and 24.96 respectively. Conclusion: In treatment of children disease, ceftriaxone is more economical than cefoperazone.
