Abstract

Turbo codes theory,Log-MAP decoding algorithm and SOVA decoding algorithm were introduced.The performances of the different decoding algorithms were compared by the simulation based on MATLAB.The result shows that,Log-MAP decoding algorithm can decoding accurately,but need to increase the decoding delay,the SOVA decoding algorithm is faster in decoding speed,lower in complexity and more simple in algorithm,it will be implemented easily in actual system.
