Abstract
Objective: To discuss the contractile function of the seminal vesicle diagnosis in the early seminal vesiculitis with transrectal ultrasound. Methods: Transrectal ultrasound used to diagnose 30 cases of no characteristic manifestations seminal vesiculitis and 30 healthy controls from March 2009 to March 2011, using rectal ultrasound before and after ejaculation, seminal vesicle diameter, wide diameter, and calculate the seminal vesicle gland volume. Results: With dimensions in the healthy group decreased after ejaculation was significantly higher than the seminal vesiculitis group, the difference was statistical significance (P0.01), and decreased volume of seminal vesicles was significantly higher than the seminal vesiculitis group, the difference was statistical significance (P0.01). Conclusion: Transrectal ultrasound can early diagnosis of contractile function of seminal vesiculitis and is worthy of wide dissemination and application in clinical.
