Abstract
The effect of different cooling rate on microstructure and mechanical properties of new type bainitic steel were studied. The results show that new type bainitic steel have better properties after austenitizing when the cooling rate between 25℃/min~117℃/min,and the microstructure contain bainitic fenite and austenite; the new type bainitic steel has a higher toughness at slow cooling in bainitic transformation temperature range.
