Abstract
Language is the carrier of culture while culture is the soil and source for the development of language.The relationship between language and culture is a recognized subject for exploring all over the world.In this thesis,the writer tries to make an exploration of the similarities and difference between Chinese and English naming methods by contrasting from cultural connotation and convention.
