Abstract

The legend of the state of Zheng(806BC-375BC) abounds in stories about monarchs,officials as well as ordinary people and Taoists,revealing the lifestyle of the time,characters of the people and the ideas of Taoism.The legendary stories are endowed with literary values and form part of the literature of pre-Qin period and the Han Dynasty.
