Deng Xiaoping’s Main Contributions to Theory of Socialist Market Economy and Its Practical Significance

Abstract
The theory of socialist market economy is an important composition of Deng Xiaoping theory. Since the third plenary session of the 11th central committee of the CCP, Deng’s theory of socialist market economy, through the unceasing consummation and development in three phases, realized ultimatly the essential transformation of the economic system and contributed much more to marxism economy. Nowadays, China’s reform is at the key phase, which need Deng’s theory of socialist market economy to lead every kind of idelogical trend and guarantee the direction of reform of socialist market economy.
