Abstract
China's entry into WTO is not only a must for China's economic development, it will also provide a great momentum to the development of the world economy. Entry into WTO is to present promises and challenges to China's tourism. Among others, it will improve the environment for China's tourism development and is conducive to the establishment of tourism operation mechanism in compliance with international regulations. A new system and a new mode of tourism administration must be established as soon as possible in order for China's tourism to be more competitive and to function and develop rapidly, steadily and healthily.
