Abstract
This paper deals with the physiological characteristics of winter wheat seedlings under different soil drought conditions. The results showed that leaf chlorophyll A content, chlorophyll B content, total chlorophyll content,Pn, TR,g_s,plant height, leaf area, leaf dry weight, stem dry weight, root dry weight and total biomass decreased with soil water decreasing, but leaf WUE and R/T increased with soil water decreasing. And it was found on the basis of analyses that the linear relationship between Pn,TR,g_s,WUE and soil water content was extremely remarkable. In conclusion, soil drought had important effects on photosynthetic characteristics, transpiration characteristics, stomatal conductance,WUE and growth characteristics of winter wheat seedlings.
