Abstract

It is possible to harmonize the composition techniques of western music with the ethnic and folk music of China,and such examples have been available as reference.The ethnic and folk music of Guizhou has a great value for music creation.Harmonizing ethnic and folk music of Guizhou with the composition teaching can both protect and develop this endangered culture creatively and scientifically and can infuse new life and energy into the traditional composition techniques of western music.
