Music Curriculum and the Inheritance of Local Folk Music in Colleges of Gansu Province

Opera,folk song,folk talk-and-sing are important art forms.How to protect and inherit,how to advance based on popularization and how to popularize under guidance is a realistic and urgent problem.This paper investigates status of opera,folk song,folk talk-and-sing in Gansu province,proposing a new method for inheriting folk art.This method combines music teaching in colleges with the spreading of folk.It will provide experience for inheriting other folk art of northwest region.
