Abstract
OBJECTIVE To isolate and investigate the endophytic fungi from medicinal plant Anoectochiusr roxburghii(wall.) lindl.METHODS Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli,Candida albicans were selected as the indicators for human pathogenic microbes.Antimicrobial tests of the isolated endophytic fungi were carried out by agar block and disc diffusion.RESULTS Among 23 strains of endophytic fungi isolated from A.roxburghii, six strains(26.0% of the total strains isolated) showed the antimicrobial activity against one or more of three human pathogenic microbes.CONCLUSION Diverse antimicrobial natural products are existed in endophytic fungi from A.roxburghii, which can be the resources for new antimicrobial products.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
