Abstract
Cultivation of Lentinus edodes with the material of cotton stalk powder in broad scale on the basis of experiments was a success. The experiments showed that it was feasible to cultivate Lenlinus edodes with cotton stalk powder instead of sawdust. But it was undernourishment at the later stage, the bags were easy untied. Its growing period was short with low production. If we added some sawdust into the material, the nutritive structure could be adjusted so as to strengthen the bags with water preservation, and with quick growing speed. When the material contains the sawdust about 25%,thd production of Letinus edodes was the highest, and the profit was the best.
