Abstract

The system structure of ArcIMS 9.0 is analyzed and the operation method and procedure for ArcIMS in GIS introduced including how to organize the data,how to create new map service,and how to design the new website.Then the main interface and functions of website is customized.This method will be of a great reference value to the departments who want to develop the special Web GIS with ArcIMS.
