On the main factors restricting the development and quality improvement of higher vocational education and the countermeasures

Higher vocational education still could not adapt to the requirement of the economic construction of China although it did make some progress in recent years.The main reasons why higher vocational education is far behind general colleges and universities are as the followings,the discriminations of the society from different classes,the lack of the guarantee of some laws and regulations,insufficient school facilities,halfway teaching reform.The writer thinks that the way to the solution is that the government should expedite making a law to develop higher vocational education,increase investment and strengthen policy support.And at the same time,Higher vocational colleges should make their efforts to improve the quality of technical persons' training and obtain the acknowledgement of the society.
